Havah House is a small, family-run house of hope. Out of our homestead in Central Connecticut, we provide handcrafted soap and hygiene products, workshops and skill-development opportunities, community gathering space, food bank contributions, and long-term emergency shelter and mentoring to youth and young adults.

A core tenet of Havah House is to simply see where we can be of help, and then do so. One of our offerings is our Sunny-Side Up program, providing free eggs and produce from our homestead and gardens to families in our community, increasing access to farm-fresh produce to folks and friends in need.

Havah House shares the aftermath of support from BFF Rapid Response Fund :

“We were able to purchase an entirely new coop and run for our flock, which had dwindled in size due to the storm damages. We are now able to increase our flock size significantly and safely raise them for eggs that we sell and donate to our community members year round. The funding eased significant emotional burden and stress as well this summer as my mother, the head of the farm, ended up getting laid off due to government cuts just as the season changed. This allowed us to maintain hope and navigate the planting and harvest season with a positive mindset, which is a truly priceless energetic contribution to our land and harvest.”
