In this year’s annual report we share about our journey towards fulfilling our visions of freedom, where we see Black people & all people in a right and healing relationship with the land’s food & medicine.
We are proud to have provided financial support, technical assistance, mentorship and collaborative efforts for Black food business owners across NYS this past year.

A WORD FROM THE TEAM
2021 was a year filled with growth, learning, deepened relationships, and most notably, our first experience redistributing capital into the hands of black agricultural businesses. We successfully raised a $1M pilot fund from individuals and institutions, and have so far deployed various combinations of integrated capital to eight transformative businesses.
Thank you for being an instrumental part of our community. We invite you to continue on this journey with Black Farmer Fund as we grow our team, expand the scope of our holistic technical assistance services and deepen the impact of our investments in 2022.
